How has yoga impacted your life?
Yoga has given me the courage to live with authenticity. To not settle in life, and how to meet challenge through using my breath and finding equanimity. I know I can step onto my mat at anytime and completely shift my energy through asana, pranayama, mantra and meditation.
What is your favourite class to teach?
I love teaching Yin and Meditation, and Slow Flow. Supporting my students to go deep, calming the nervous system and releasing any stagnant energy from within the body and returning to homeostasis.
I love Meditation to teach my students to manage stress, and feel happier
What is a quote you love, or a book you recommend?
I love The universe has your back by Gabby Bernstein - always a beautiful comforting reminder to know how universally supported we are.

How has yoga impacted your life?
Practising yoga has undoubtedly had a great impact on how I move through life - how I treat other beings, how I treat myself and how I take time to reflect on my reactions and feelings. In my humble opinion practising yoga or mindfulness does not make one a perfect human being but rather gives the tools and opportunity to experience life being aware of why we act or feel a certain way, and then perhaps try and change any patterns we are not satisfied with.
I try to bring yoga off the mat to every aspect of my life, including my parenting where the ability and time to look within, reflect, take time for myself as well as remaining calm in frustrating situations has made a big difference.
What is your favourite class to teach?
That would definitely be the slower paced gentle flows - both to practice and to teach. I believe it is a great idea to practice different styles of yoga however taking it slow gives the opportunity to face the thoughts and feelings rising within which we don't often have the chance to in our increasingly busy lives. I love giving my students the permission to slow things down.
What is a quote you love, or a book you recommend?
Michael A. Singer "The Untethered Soul". Breathe, relax and let go.

What is your teaching ethos?
I prioritise agency, exploration and how practices feel over and above what they look like. There is nowhere to get to, nothing to achieve, no need to edit or perform – my offerings are a chance to welcome yourself, just as you are. I love to theme classes and am inspired by books, poetry, traditional Chinese Medicine philosophy and the natural world. Yoga is a practice that invites balance, integration, and presence—not just on the mat, but in every part of life. For me, yoga is a way of living, being and moving in and through the world.
How has yoga impacted your life?
Through personal struggle and life challenges, I discovered yoga and meditation, practices that have transformed the way I live and experience life. Yoga and meditation have helped me bring together the fragmented parts of myself, allowing me to feel whole. They continue to be my greatest allies and pillars of support, self-discovery, and joy.
Favourite style to teach?
My favourite style to teach is Yin, in an embodied way. For me, Yin is about finding the joy in slowing down and relearning how to rest in a culture that wants to keep us busy and distracted. It beautifully combines my passion for embodied mindfulness, conscious breathing, traditional Chinese Medicine and creating space in our lives for more openness and expansiveness.
A quote and/or book I love:
David Whyte’s Consolations and John O’Donohue’s Anam Cara are books to read and re-read forever.
“And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And to know the place for the first time”
— T. S. Eliot

My yoga teaching ethos

I am also passionate about building strong foundations in technique and alignment to help prevent injury and support students in reaching their goals.
How has yoga impacted your life?
Yoga feels like a lifelong friend—a constant through all of life's shifts and changes. It has helped me develop a deeper understanding of myself and how the mind can create struggle and suffering. Yoga has given me a clearer way forward—though it’s not always easy, and I know I’m in it for the long haul!
Favourite style to teach?
My favourite class to teach is the one I am teaching in that very moment
What is a quote you love, or a book you recommend?
It’s very hard to only pick one but if I must choose…!
The Universe if not outside of you. Look inside yourself; everything that you want, you already are - Rumi

My yoga teaching ethos
My approach prioritises empowerment by guiding students through an experience of interoception and sensory self-inquiry. This allows them to collect data and make choices that honour their body in each moment, building agency, autonomy and confidence. I use a combination of asana, pranayama, embodiment practices, trauma informed resources, mantra, and meditation to take students on a journey through their body that cultivates safety in the nervous system.
How has yoga impacted your life?
I have been a practitioner of yoga for two decades, my whole adult life. My experience of trauma in early motherhood led me to yoga teaching as a pathway for healing and a way to share with others the tools that have supported me on my journey. Yoga became my path back to connection with my body, a way to cultivate safety and regain my agency. Yoga continues to support me daily on the path of motherhood - an anchor to navigate the chaos of life with grace, love, and flow.
Favourite style to teach?
I love to teach Slow Flow & Yin, providing an opportunity to slow down in the fast pace of the world.
